Comprehensive Primary Care is the place to start for preventive care and treatment of any short- or long-term illness. Women's Health Primary Care Providers and their teams take care of your general medical needs and can refer you to other needed or specialty services, such as those listed below:

Your Women's Health team is here for you every step of the way, and designated women's health staff members are available at every VA.
- Women's Health Primary Care Providers (WH-PCP) to deliver primary care, women-specific health care and referrals for specialty services
- Women Veterans Program Managers (WVPM) to help you access benefits and health care services
- Women's Health Medical Directors to serve as clinical leaders for Women's health at your facility
- Patient Aligned Care Teams (PACT) are made up of you, those who support you (like your family members and caregivers), and your health care providers
- Maternity Care Coordinators (MCC) coordinate care for pregnant Veterans who are receiving maternity care benefits from VA
- Women's Mental Health Champions (WMHC) are a point of contact for women's mental health services at VA facilities
- LGBTQ+ Veteran Care Coordinators (LGBTQ+ VCC) coordinate care for LGBT Veterans receiving care at VA facilities
The Women Veterans Call Center is your guide to women's health
If you have questions or can't find what you're looking for, you can call, text, or chat online with the Women Veterans Call Center (WVCC) at 855-829-6636 to get help and find available resources and services in your area. Trained women representatives can also:
- Provide you with information on enrolling in VA health care if you have not already
- Provide you with information on setting up a medical appointment in your area
- Provide you with information about your eligibility (including questions about disability ratings) and other VA benefits like employment, education, and home loans
- Connect you with your local VA Medical Center or local women's health contact who can assist in coordinating all the services you need
WVCC representatives are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. ET, and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. ET.
